Nanny and the professor was a delightful read, just the kind of book you would want to curl up with at the end of a busy day. The writing was flawless and the characters in the book were well developed, people one could relate too.Cassie and Joshua's romance was endearing to read, they didn't always see eye to eye and that made for some witty sparring between the two of them.
Cassie was resilient in the face of adversity, her character enforced the saying " make lemonade off the lemons life throws at you".

Nanny and the Professor A Family Forever Series Book 5 edition by Donna Fasano Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Nanny and the professor is a well-written, sweet story that will lead you through a gamut of emotions from laughter to tears. You’ll find the characters richly developed and likeable - actually endearing, including her eight-year-old brother and his asthmatic son. When you get to the end, you’ll want more by this author and thankfully she’s got a bookcase full of these wonderful heart-warmers.
Wow
This book just in the first paragraph alone kept me entertained. I definatey fell in love with all of the characters. Specially Joshua the dad.
He is was at first an over protective dad and that I really can understand to some extent but then he meets the Nanny that made everyone just want to read the book to find out what the attraction really was.
An over protective dad that had to make a decision spot on to hire this particular Nanny (Cassie) that his Aunt Mary had sent to him. What are the odds really? lol Joshua thought of Cassie at one point more than his son Andrew and I got that and that drew me even more into the book. But he was giving a lecture out of town so I can really get that.
This book drew me in and in. I could not put this book down. I mean I cried, I laughed way out loud. Now try doing that in Home Depot and not get stares but hey it was a great read. Everyone should pick up this book and have a time out and enjoy it. I don't recommend going into Home Depot though and reading it but hey life is what you make of it and with this book you won't want to put it down.
I would like to see a book 2 come out of this lol but a girl can hope.
4 stars
I purchased the novella A Family Forever Series book 5 Nanny and The Professor by Donna Fasano and this review was given freely.
High school dropout and guardian to her young brother, Cassie becomes the live in Nanny for Professor Joshua's son Andy. This story contains an unconventional first meeting, a strong physical attraction, a forgetful and interfering but loving Aunt, the vulnerable but multitalented Cassie and a sweet love story.
Nanny and the Professor is a light and rather fluffy read that is ideal for filling a couple of hours with feel good romance.
Cassie is a bright and bubbly young woman who has a deep dark shameful secret. In her opinion. She has spent the last eight years bringing up her little brother, the last two of them alone, struggling to find work and keep the two of them off the streets.
Finally, through the help of a friend, she finds the ideal job, and incidentally the ideal man. Joshua is a smart professor but he has a real problem parenting his son since the death of his wife three years ago.
Cassie bursts into his life like a ray of sunlight, bringing new life to his home, improving his relationship with his son and most of all showing him what life and love could be like.
It all looks fair to a happy ending before the end of the first couple of chapters. The only problem is that Cassie's secret is just about the worst possible thing to have to reveal to the Professor. So she will have to fight her attraction and resist his charm.
I enjoyed this book which kept a smile on my face most of the way through. Donna Fasano didn't delve too deeply into the emotions, though Cassie's predicament towards the end will certainly move any reader. The sizzle never quite got off the ground which was fine for the type of book it is. It made for a pleasant and fun read.
I certainly enjoyed this beautiful, sweet romance about Cassie, a young woman who has sacrificed so much to have a roof over the head of her 8 year old brother, Eric, who she has guardianship over, and Professor Joshua Kingston, a widower who is raising his young son Andrew who is asthmatic, allergy ridden son the only way he knows - isolated to keep him from having an allergy attack. Their lives intertwine when she is recommended for a nanny position for Andrew by Mary Kingston, Joshua’s scatterbrained aunt and Cassie’s charm and beauty overwhelms Joshua and he hires her after just meeting her and leaves for a conference. Eric lives with Cassie wherever she goes and the weekend with her and the boys goes stunningly well. As time progresses both father and son fall in love with the loving and caring nanny. It is such a sweet, endearing romance with heartbreaking descriptions of what Cassie has had to sacrifice for the love of her brother. While the chemistry is steamy between Cassie and Joshua, this is nearly a G-rated romance with more implied sexual feelings rather than those demonstrated. I found this book refreshing with the author’s skilled writing. By the end of the book I was in tears as these four learn the true meaning of family.
